Hi.

You’re Awesome,

I’m Allister Foster - a Vancouver based photographer creating narrative-driven imagery across commercial, entertainment industry and portrait work. I bring intention and a service oriented mindset to every project - grounded in trust, collaboration, and long-term creative partnerships.

With over 20 years of on-set experience in film and television, I work with confidence and ease in fast-moving environments. My approach is calm, observant, and efficient - anticipating moments, solving problems intuitively, and supporting the creative vision with professionalism and patience.

Every project is met with care, dedication, and respect for the story being told. My goal is simple: to create imagery that is honest, cinematic, and faithful to its subject, no matter the context.

Published work in Vogue, Variety, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, Vanity Fair, People, Us Weekly, Parade, and Forbes. Clients include RBC, Hallmark Media, Lifetime, A+E, TSN, VH1, Douglas College, Futurpreneur, and the Township of Langley.

Based in Vancouver, Canada. Currently non-union.

Let’s create extraordinary work.
